The “Kovat Blu” (Blue Buckets) campaign is a food campaign that the Dorcas Albania Foundation runs every year. It provides food for older people living alone and for families in hardship, and rallies the community behind them. Beyond collecting donations, we want people to understand the conditions and challenges these groups face, so that the community itself steps in to make their lives easier.

Why a blue bucket?

Blue is Dorcas's colour, and a bucket is something every family can use. Each one is filled with basic food — essential help for people who need it. Every full bucket is a hand held out: a message of love and care.
